under-eye-concealers

Some concealers hide dark circles, others just give radiance to the whole eye area and brighten your complexion. There are a few out there who are even capable of performing both of these crucial tasks in order to provide you with a dewy, clear complexion. The best under-eye concealers on the market come in the shape of illuminating pens and today I’m going to help you decide which of these wonder products is the right one for you.

Under-eye concealers are presented day by day wih the chalenging task of freshening our skin and the eye area, diminishing fine lines, wrinkles and pores and hiding dark circles. With just a quick swipe of their brush, illuminating pens bring radiance to the under eye area, thanks to light reflecting particles and cover all imperfections, without sinking into the skin or creasing.

Formulated by the best brands out there, these products are the key ingredient (alongside a good primer, foundation and powder) for a clear, impecable complexion and a fresh, rejuvenated skin. Although they provide enough coverage to mask all imperfections of the skin and make you look well rested, they are not as dense as concealers for blemishes and other skin problems and are invisible on the skin.

This means that by just adding a touch of under eye concealers before your put your mascara on and leave your place, you will look and feel great throughout the day.

YSL Touche Eclat widens eyes when used between the eyebrows and creates fuller looking lips when used on Cupid’s bow. I also use it to erase any shadows along the nostrils, when dealing with a prominent nose.

Givenchy Mister Light Instant Light Corrective Pen

Givency’s Mister Light is an under-eye concealer that revives the complexion and eliminates any sign of fatigue. Its soothing texture is similar to YSL’s Touche Eclat, yet the shades available are more suitable for women with a a warmer complexion.

Make Up Forever HD Invisible Cover Concealer

Leave it to a high definition product to show you what remaining invisible to the naked eye really means. This oil-free, medium-coverage eye concealer from MUFE creates a soft-focus effect, brightening the eye area and diminishing the aspect of fine lines and wrinkles.

It provides a natural, radiant look and it is available in 14 shades to choose from. The soft silicone applicator is one of the best I’ve tried, but don’t mind me – I’m a sucker for MUFE products! Try it for yourself!

Its color correcting properties and its creamy, crease resistant formula covers dark circles and blends easily into the skin. Tip: if you are looking for a good salmon toned concealer to hide your dark circles, Make Up Forever HD Invisible Cover Concealer in #350 is the shade for you!

Dolce & Gabbana The Concealer Perfect Finish Concealer

This under-eye concealer soothes and conditions skin, eliminates imperfections, and illuminates complexion. The creamy weightless formula moisturizes, soothes, and blends naturally, concealing flaws and every kind of imperfection.

Illuminating the skin with light-reflecting radiance particles, this under eye concealer achieves a natural, impeccable glow. Pat McGrath, super star makeup artist uses it to make the eyes appear larger and more radiant, as well as diminishing fine lines and signs of fatigue.

L’Oreal Touche Magique

For a budget under eye concealer, LÓreal Touche Magique is quite efficient! Fine particles reflects light and cover dark circles and other minor skin blemishes and shadows. I was pleased to find that this provides a little more coverage than the other under-eye concealers I mentioned in this post, so for those who are looking for a middle ground product, this is the illuminator for you. On the downside, the stiff bristles of the brush can’t be used to blend the product into the skin so you’ll have to invest in a fluffier brush.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer

Maybelline’s Dream Lumi Touch Concealer was dubbed YSL’s Touche Eclat budget friendly dupe, however many of those who tried it even enjoy the differences between the two. This is a creamy, opaque concealer/illuminator, that effectively blends over under-eye circles to conceal and reflect light, making skin look refreshed.

It lasts all day on the skin, doesn’t creep into fine lines and actually provides better coverage than other under-eye concealers.
