Colored Glitter Nail Polishes
Nicole By OPI in Cinna-man of my dreams
Cinna-man Of My Dreams has a ton of different colored fine glitter but overall looks like a pink-reddish-brown on the nail. This is definitely one of my favorites as it looks phenomenal matte but also when I apply a top coat.
OPI Mariah Carrey Collection in Sprung
Sprung is my absolute favorite glitter nail polish, since I can achieve different levels of opacity for this one depending on how many layers of polish I apply. It’s a real stunner, combining cooper and gold particles for an intense, party appropriate effect. Although I’m also fond of A Butterfly Moment, which is a peachy pink with a strong golden shimmer. Figure out which one you love best!
Orly Nail Polish in Last Dance
Last dance has a red glitter suspended in a sheer red base, making this Orly nail polish a great option for festive Christmas days, New Year’s Eve or for Valentine’s Day. I find its gel texture unique among other glitter nail polishes, which is why it’s easier to apply as well as remove.
Deborah Lippmann Let’s Go Crazy
Inspired the classic pop hit performed by Prince, this dazzling glitter nail polish is a party favourite on mine. The glitter is multi-colored and multi-shaped and looks sublime paired with its very dark purple glossy base. Because of all the lavender, red, green, fuchsia, blue and gold glitter in both hexagonal and round shapes, some glitter chunks tend to sink into the polish coats, rather than sit on top, thus creating a more 3D effect.
NYX Multi Glitter
Multi Glitter does not only have all sorts of shapes and sizes of glitter in one bottle, but also lots of colors that look good worn on their own, over a nude polish or over pastel shades. You’ll love the reflections the metallic glitter gives to a multi-colored nail.

Lancome Vernis in Ginger Swing
Lancome Vernis in Ginger Swing offers its wearer a blend of fine small glitter particles in gold and beige, which makes this glitter nail polish a perfect choice for those looking for something a little more sophisticated than nude nail polish. Plus, the shimmery finish resists chips and prolongs the life of your mani.

OPI Nail Lacquer in The Living Daylights
The longer your nails, the bigger the glitter can get, so you need some length when trying the confetti-size sparkle in OPI Nail Lacquer in The Living Daylights. Layer it over taupe for a Saturday night—the neutral base tones down the colorful shine so your nails don’t look like a kid’s craft project.

How to Remove Glitter Nail Polish
Although the glitter nail polish is an easy way to add a touch of sophistication to your look, taking it off is another story, often involving a pile of cotton pads and a great amount of remover.
Luckily, there are a few tricks up on my sleeveless dress that I’m happy to share to avoid wasting 10 minutes of your life. There’s the aluminum foil method, that all the nail artists use, one not-so-recommended glue layer solution and finally, some efficient nail polish removers with natural ingredients that work as solvents.
I’ll tell you more on this subject in another article, about the best nail polish removers on the market.
